From August 4-8, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba is making visits to Malawi, Zambia, and Mauritius.
This fourth African tour by the Foreign Minister aims to continue building relationships with African countries. All three countries—Malawi, Zambia, and Mauritius—will be visited by the Ukrainian Foreign Minister for the first time in history.
In Lilongwe, Lusaka, and Port Louis, Dmytro Kuleba will hold talks with national leaders, foreign ministers, and representatives from business and cultural circles.
The focus of all meetings will be on developing bilateral relations based on mutual respect and interests. Key topics will include the participation of African states in global efforts to restore a just peace for Ukraine and the world.
A special emphasis of the discussions in Malawi will be Ukraine's crucial role in ensuring food security: sharing experiences and technologies in agriculture and the humanitarian program “Grain From Ukraine.”
In Zambia, the minister will discuss the development of bilateral relations, political dialogue, and cooperation within international organizations.
In Mauritius, one of Africa's most successful economies, a particular topic of the meetings will be attracting investment and involving Mauritian businesses in the rebuilding and recovery of Ukraine.
