Ukraine is working in Washington to obtain U.S. permission to use American long-range weapons to strike military airfields on Russian territory.
This was reported by Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba during a telethon broadcast.
"We are working on another decision that does not directly depend on NATO but depends on the United States. This will be discussed during contacts with American officials and some of our closest partners," Kuleba said.
According to him, this concerns permission to use U.S. long-range weapons against military airfields on Russian territory.
"There, it is necessary to ruthlessly destroy all military targets that are involved in the bombings and missile strikes on Ukraine," the minister emphasized.
It should be recalled that at the end of May, the White House gave Ukraine the "green light" to strike Russian military targets, but with certain limitations.
