Russian military forces are constantly attempting to regain their positions in the south.
This was stated by the spokesperson for the Southern Defense Forces, Dmytro Pletenchuk, during a telethon broadcast.
"The situation remains stable. There are constant attempts to restore positions by our enemy, with attacks occurring regularly. In the past day alone, there were 11 attacks," he said.
According to him, most of the attacks by Russians are targeting the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions.
"Our trenches are not giving the Russians any peace. They hope to push our marines out of there, but these attempts are in vain. Usually, there are several attacks per day, and today there have already been three. Similarly, they have had no success, but the enemy does not give up these attempts. The same situation is in Robotyne," Pletenchuk noted.
He added that the invaders are trying to regain control of Nestryha Island under the cover of artillery and drones, but they are forced to move in small groups.
"They face a major obstacle - our Dnipro River. Consequently, to overcome it, they have to use boats, but at this moment, they are in an open area, so it's quite difficult for them, and they are suffering losses," Pletenchuk stated.
