Russian forces once again attempted to seize the island of Nestryha, recently returned under Ukrainian control. Also, the Russian forces made nine attempts to storm the Southern direction.
This was reported by the head of the Center for Strategic Communications of the Armed Forces of the South, Dmytro Pletenchuk, during a telethon broadcast.
As noted by Pletenchuk, the enemy is attempting to increase pressure in the area of Staromykhailivka. There, the occupiers tried three times to storm the positions of Ukrainian defenders, during which they lost four tanks. The situation in Robitne is also quite challenging.
"The enemy attacked Krynky twice and tried again to seize the island of Nestryha," said Pletenchuk.
He added that since the beginning of the day, assaults on Krynky and islands have continued, noting that this morning the Russians dropped 6 GABs.
At the same time, he informed that there have been no significant changes in the nature of the enemy's actions, nor signs of the creation of offensive formations.
