Drone Attack on Odessa: 2 injured, thousands left without power

In Odessa, two people were injured as a result of a Russian drone attack, leaving 46,600 consumers in the region without electricity.

According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine on Facebook, a fire broke out at a Ukrainian Railways depot following the strikes, and rescuers managed to extinguish it. The roof and windows of a private house were also damaged.

Two people were injured — one at the depot and another in the private house.

 

 

The response involved 13 units of equipment and 54 firefighters from the State Emergency Service, one unit and four members from the Association of Voluntary Firefighters of Ukraine, and a firefighting train from Ukrainian Railways.

Head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper, reported power outages. By morning, energy workers managed to partially restore supply, bringing electricity back to 11,300 clients, but 46,600 consumers remain without power.
