Military uniforms and equipment intended for Ukrainian soldiers undergoing training abroad were stolen during transportation from the Netherlands to the United Kingdom.

The Dutch Ministry of Defense reported the incident.

According to the country's defense department, the goods were stolen last week from a civilian truck that was transporting them, and the ministry made the relevant announcement on Monday.

"The robbery occurred during a night stopover in the UK. The tarpaulin of the truck's cargo compartment was cut," the statement said.

It is specified that Ukrainian servicemen are undergoing military training in the UK as part of Operation Interflex, with the assistance of Dutch soldiers.

The ministry added that the local police are investigating the theft.
