First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Emine Dzheppar, who arrived in India on a two-day visit, met with the Secretary of the Western Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of India, Sanjay Verma.

Invited India to join the Peace Formula initiated by President Zelensky and the Grain from Ukraine initiative. It is important to have India on board," Dzheppar wrote on Twitter.

For his part, Verma took to Twitter to welcome Dzheppar to India.

"It is a pleasure to receive the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Emina Dzheppar. We shared views. We discussed bilateral commitments and further cooperation. We wish her a successful trip," Verma said.

According to information on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dzheppar will visit India on April 10-11.

The program of the stay in New Delhi includes meetings with the Minister of State for External Affairs - the Minister of State for Culture of India, Meenakshi Lekhi, the Deputy Minister of External Affairs of India, Sanjay Verma, and the Deputy Advisor to the Prime Minister of India on National Security Vikram Misri.

"The parties will discuss the strengthening of bilateral cooperation, in particular, the holding of political consultations, the exchange of visits at the highest and highest levels, the resumption of the work of the intergovernmental Ukrainian-Indian commission on trade, economic, scientific, technical, industrial and cultural cooperation, as well as ways to intensify relations between the two countries within the framework of a comprehensive partnership," the message reads.

Dzheppar will also take part in a round table with the Indian Strategic Community and interactive communication with representatives of the Indian Council on International Affairs, as well as give an interview to leading Indian media.
