Energoatom brought another energy unit of one of the domestic nuclear power plants out of scheduled preventive maintenance earlier than the planned date.

This was reported by Energoatom.

"On October 9, 11 days earlier than planned, 'Energoatom' brought another energy unit of one of the domestic nuclear power plants out of scheduled preventive maintenance. Its power is currently being increased," the report said.

Energoatom noted that the repair work was completed ahead of schedule. The company emphasized that nuclear power plants remain the main source of uninterrupted electricity supply for the country, providing "more than half" of Ukraine's total electricity production.

Currently, nine energy units of Energoatom, which are operating in territory controlled by Ukraine, are ready for the autumn-winter period.
