“Diversifying markets for Ukrainian products of animal and plant origin is one of the priority areas of state agricultural policy. Throughout 2025, thanks to the consistent and coordinated work of specialists from the State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Economy, and Ukraine’s foreign diplomatic missions, 19 new markets were opened for the export of Ukrainian agricultural products,” said Serhii Tkachuk, Head of the State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection.

Expanding export geography is not only an additional opportunity for the development of the national economy, but also confirmation of the effectiveness of the state control system, proper epizootic surveillance, and proof that even under wartime conditions Ukraine remains a reliable and responsible trading partner on the international stage.

The opening of 19 new markets in 2025 is a convincing confirmation of the effectiveness and coordinated work of the State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection. Thanks to the professionalism of the service’s specialists and their daily work at both national and international levels, Ukrainian producers gain new opportunities for development, while the state strengthens its export potential.

The State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection will continue its active efforts to expand access for Ukrainian products to global markets, ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and trust in Ukrainian producers.
