Open Data Accelerator is an acceleration programme supporting Ukrainian startups developing technological solutions based on open data. From September to November, participants developed their projects with mentors and, in the final stage, presented their developments to the jury. The Open Data Accelerator programme has a total grant fund of over 5.8 million UAH, with 14 finalists competing this year.

Based on the pitch results, the jury selected 5 projects, reports the Ministry of Digital Transformation.

The following startups received grants:

  • Demarka — An AI platform for automating the verification of trademarks. It helps businesses quickly and affordably assess the potential for brand registration.
  • Струм (Strum) — A career guidance platform for teenagers and youth. The platform collects information about 50 of the most in-demand professions on the Ukrainian labor market — from educational institutions to employment opportunities.
  • Handstree — A comprehensive SaaS solution connecting non-profit organizations and international donors for transparent cooperation. This way, sponsors donate only to verified initiatives and can track how their funds are spent.
  • CrimeDataLab — A platform for analyzing official crime-fighting statistics. It helps evaluate the effectiveness of law enforcement and judicial bodies. The platform features interactive dashboards and an AI assistant for data analysis.
  • Sympto.mе — A mobile application for optimizing doctors' workflows and supporting patients through AI avatars before and after visits to medical institutions.

Also, the AI tool for processing large volumes of data, AI-Refine, received mentoring support to further its development.
