On July 12, the Forum of Ukrainians in Italy will be held at Saint Sophia Cathedral in Rome. This marks the first gathering of Ukrainian organizations in Italy since Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine began, according to the World Congress of Ukrainians (WCU).
The forum’s motto is:
“Let us unite in action today — for Ukraine’s victory and its European future tomorrow!”
The forum aims to unite Ukrainian groups from across Italy to launch a new phase of collaboration, emphasizing shared responsibility and commitment to future generations. Organizers stress the importance of coordinated and conscious action at this crucial moment for Ukraine’s future.
All Ukrainian communities in Italy are invited to send representatives to help build a strong, organized, and influential Ukrainian community capable of addressing current challenges effectively.
“The Forum is not just a chance to gather — it’s a historic step toward united action built on trust and a shared vision,” organizers said.
Registration is open online, with the deadline on July 5. Afterward, the Organizing Committee will confirm participation and provide the event program and practical details.
The forum is organized by the World Congress of Ukrainians, the Christian Society of Ukrainians in Italy, the Lastivka Association, the Association of Ukrainian Women Workers in Italy, and NAU — the Network of Associations for Ukraine. Partners include the Embassy of Ukraine in Italy, the Apostolic Exarchate of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, and the Saint Sophia Cathedral in Rome.
If you represent a Ukrainian community in Italy, please register your representatives by July 1 using the registration form at the link provided.
