Former Minister of Defense Oleksiy Reznikov has restored his right to practice law. This information was provided by the National Bar Association.

It is noted that Reznikov's right to practice law was reinstated on January 16 based on his application.

The National Bar Association recalled that Reznikov suspended his right to practice law in March 2020 immediately after being appointed Deputy Prime Minister - Minister for Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories.

On November 3, 2021, the Verkhovna Rada dismissed him from the position of Deputy Prime Minister, and the next day, he was appointed Minister of Defense.

Reznikov received his lawyer's certificate in 1994 at the Lviv Regional Bar Association. Before working in the government, he worked in law firms and bar associations.

In April 2014, at the extraordinary Congress of Lawyers of Ukraine in Odesa, Reznikov was elected one of the three members of the Higher Council of Justice (now the Higher Council of Justice) representing the legal profession.
