Energodar Mayor Dmitry Orlov announced this on Telegram.
"Today, September 5, 2022, four out of six representatives of the IAEA inspection team completed their work at the Zaporizhzhia NPP and left the plant site. It is expected that two experts will continue to work at the ZNPP permanently," he wrote.
Also, the head of the Zaporizhzhya Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Starukh, spoke on the air of the FREEDOM TV project on September 4 about the situation around the ZNPP and enemy attacks.
âRegarding the shelling of the nuclear power plant with a mortar, everyone understands that these weapons cannot be reached from the controlled territory to the station. This is a staged occupiers to create a picture for the IAEA, but they didnât succeed. They only damaged the power line, put it in reserve 5th, and now only one 6th power unit is operating with a reduced capacity. This energy is enough to maintain the station's operation," he said.
Starukh said that Energodar was heavily shelled during the week, even from a helicopter. "Therefore, we expect clear actions from the international mission, which will be aimed at demilitarizing the facility, the zone around it, and controlling nuclear safety," he added.
Starukh noted that "the irresponsibility of the occupier led to the fact that on Sunday from 17.00 power supply to the Melitopol, Berdyansk and Vasilyevsky directions was cut off." He added that shelling of settlements on the demarcation line continues, networks are being destroyed.
