The design of the Godshot Coffee café in Odessa by the Petrossjan Architecture Studio has been recognized in the top list of the most beautiful coffee shops according to Architectural Digest.
"Godshot Coffee," a cafe-patisserie in Odessa, welcomed its first visitors on July 15, 2023. The idea was conceived and brought to life in just 3.5 months. The cafe's owners had been running a successful business in Kherson since 2016, becoming one of the city's favorites. Following the liberation of Kherson from Russian occupation, they decided to relocate their business to the more peaceful city of Odessa.
The coffee house's design, executed by "Petrossjan Architecture Studio," draws inspiration from the beloved Bauhaus style. Emphasizing color, shapes, and proportions over outdated embellishments, the space features a harmonious blend of deep blue and brick tones upon entering.
The primary seating consists of comfortable red hollow brick seats adorned with soft cushions. An eye-catching feature is the communal table, specially designed for freelancers opting to work in a café. Constructed with metal and adorned with blue matte tiles, the table includes four built-in sockets, ensuring guests can work seamlessly with their devices without concern for battery levels.
Godshot Coffee in Odessa embodies simplicity, clean lines, functionality, and ample natural light. The café's expansive arched windows, adorned with small, inviting tables, showcase its interior to passersby. Minimalist pendant lights and track systems from Polish manufacturers, "Kanlux" and "Nowodvorski," illuminate the space. Separated by long, dense curtains, the main hall, utility rooms, and WC area, doubling as a photo zone for food bloggers, maintain a tasteful ambiance. A vintage mirror, bright yellow stall doors, and classic Bauhaus tiles create an ideal backdrop for selfies.
