On January 28, the official opening of the HD Hyundai XiteSolution representative office took place with the participation of the company’s leadership, headed by Senior Vice President of HD Hyundai XiteSolution and HD Hyundai Infracore, as well as Head of HD Hyundai Group for Ukraine’s reconstruction projects, Mr. Moon Che-Young, representatives from the Ukrainian Government, Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Communities and Territories Development, as well as the banking and private sectors.
"We call on international partners to invest now, as those who do so first will have the best opportunities. The demand for construction and industrial machinery is high, and we appreciate the comprehensive approach of HD Hyundai: office, service, training, production localization, and collaboration with Ukrainian companies. Ukraine has the potential to become the largest market for reconstruction this decade. We are grateful for Hyundai's willingness to invest in Ukraine, creating conditions for Ukrainian buyers to access modern equipment and build a strong and successful state," said Andrii Teliupa, Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine.
During the presentation, the company announced its intentions to actively engage in reconstruction projects. HD Hyundai XiteSolution is exploring the possibility of establishing manufacturing facilities for large-scale assembly of certain types of heavy construction machinery in Ukraine.
Additionally, the company plans to open a customs and logistics hub for construction equipment and Hyundai products in one of Ukraine's western regions and create three modern training centers to educate users and service personnel for heavy machinery.
"At HD Hyundai XiteSolution, we consider Ukraine one of the most important and promising markets. The construction machinery market has significant potential due to the growing demand for infrastructure restoration. The opening of our representative office in Kyiv is part of our strategy to support the Ukrainian economy. HD Hyundai aims to play a leading and key role, not only by supplying equipment but also offering smart technologies and recovery strategies. Our goal is to contribute to creating modern, innovative infrastructure that will serve as the foundation for Ukraine's future development," emphasized Mr. Moon Che-Young.
The first training centers will be located in Kyiv and Lviv regions and will be equipped with the relevant machinery, simulators, and training grounds for working with heavy equipment. Special attention will be given to equipment that meets Tier 4 Interim and Tier 4 Final standards. The company also plans to update the training center of the Agency for Restoration and Infrastructure Development in Bila Tserkva, Kyiv region.
Note: HD Hyundai XiteSolution is a subholding company of HD Hyundai Group that coordinates the group's activities in heavy equipment, construction, and industrial machinery, combining two subsidiaries: HD Hyundai Construction Equipment and HD Hyundai Infracore. In 2023, HD Hyundai Construction Equipment sent five crawler excavators to Mykolaiv region for urgent infrastructure restoration needs. The company plans to deliver another 30 units of equipment to the State Emergency Service in 2025.
