The war must end by protecting the territorial integrity of Ukraine.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stated this at the UN General Assembly in New York.
"The war will never triumph, and there will be no losers in a fair peace process," Erdogan said and called for an end to the war in Ukraine.
The Turkish president urged the world to support Turkey's "peace initiatives to settle this dispute once and for all."
âWe need a decent way out of this crisis. And this is only possible because of a diplomatic solution that is rational, fair, and usable,â he said.
According to Erdogan, Turkey is trying to end the war, and other countries should contribute to this, UNIAN reports.
Against the backdrop of statements about the preparation of the so-called referendum on the accession of the occupied territories of Ukraine to Russia, the President of Turkey noted the priority of protecting the territorial integrity of Ukraine.
"We are making great efforts to ensure that the war ends by protecting Ukraine's territorial integrity and sovereignty once and for all. We would like to appeal to all international organizations and countries of the world - support Turkey's peace initiatives to resolve this dispute," he summed up.
Recall that they can announce a general mobilization after the statements about the holding of "referenda" in Russia. After all, the Russian invaders may consider the fire influence on the occupied parts of the Kherson, Zaporizhzhia regions and the L/DPR an encroachment on "their" territories. However, according to military expert Petro Chernyk, the announcement of the mobilization of the Russian Federation will only accelerate its collapse.
