The team of "Hydrogen Ukraine" has arrived at the location of the future hydrogen plant in the Odessa region and is commencing necessary exploratory work to prepare the land for construction. It is expected that the new plant will play a key role in the country's green energy strategy, contributing to reducing carbon emissions and promoting clean energy. The exploratory work will facilitate site preparation and assist in precise planning and construction of the hydrogen infrastructure.
"We are thrilled to be in the Odessa region and laying the foundation for our innovative project," said Yaroslav Kryl, CEO of Hydrogen Ukraine. "Hydrogen production holds tremendous potential for Ukraine, and this plant will play a crucial role in achieving our country's goals for clean energy, security, and independence."
The Odessa region was chosen for its strategic location and potential to become a hub for green energy in Ukraine. The hydrogen plant is expected to create numerous jobs and stimulate economic growth in the region.
The project funding was provided through the InnovateUkraine competition, financed by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office and conducted by the British Embassy in Kyiv.
