At the Rencontres d’Arles Book Awards, the photographic diary 'Bolnichka' by Kharkiv artist Vladyslav Krasnoshchok was honored. The publication secured second place in the 'Author's Book' category. The artist shared this news on Facebook.

'In the photobook competition in Arles, first place went to a stack of A4 paper with a stretched spring on the short edge. 'Больнічка' took second place, and I congratulate everyone on this!' he wrote.

The book is described as a 'surreal narrative filled with dark medical humor,' illustrating the state of the post-Soviet medical system in Ukraine.
