The Green Party faction in Germany accuses the Russian dictator Vladimir Putin of attempting to destabilize the situation in the country.
This was stated by the vice-chair of the parliamentary group "Greens" Agnieszka Brugger, as reported by Spiegel.
Brugger believes that after the publication of an internal conversation between officers of the German Armed Forces in Russia, further subversive actions by the Russian Federation may occur in the coming months.
"The events of the past few days once again show how Vladimir Putin is trying to exert a massive negative influence on our open society, especially in Germany, through disinformation, destabilization, and espionage," said the vice-chair of the parliamentary group.
She also noted that this year, which is already filled with important elections, the threat from Russia will only increase.
"We must prepare much better for it in politics, media, and society. As a society, we must become more resilient, strong, and protected," Brugger added.
