"Ukrainians are building a Fortress. A Fortress of courage, bravery, and victory... Behind every work lie human destinies, stories of losses, hopes, and heroic resistance – these are the same building blocks in the great FORTIFICATION that we are constructing as a nation. Each individual is an inseparable part of the whole; together, we transform fear, pain, grief, horror, and other emotions brought by the full-scale invasion into strength, willpower, and a thirst for life," the organizers explain.

The exhibition will showcase works by Lyudmyla Rashtanova, Serhiy Korniyevsky, and Ed Potapenkov.

Lyudmyla Rashtanova incorporates images of Saints into the present-day realities of Ukraine. The images that by their nature should be protectors themselves find themselves in danger. With this, she touches upon the issue of human existence in the modern world, the discrepancy between the ideals humanity strives for and the reality it has created.

Ed Potapenkov addresses current issues in his works, emotionally impacting the viewer and inviting them to engage in a dialogue through the use of colors and contrasting images.

The "Prayer" series by Sergiy Korniievskyi holds a dualistic significance. These are words directed towards God, and at the same time, they represent the process of their reading. The artist, sensing the energy that unites all European countries, transforms it into a form.
