The Russian strike on Mykolaiv the day before was carried out by two ballistic missiles, reportedly "Iskander-M," announced Vitaliy Kim, head of the regional military administration, on the morning of March 18.
He also reported an increase in the number of casualties:
"As a result of the missile attack, one person has died in the hospital, and nine others have been injured, including two children. All necessary medical assistance is being provided to the injured."
According to Kim, the strike damaged private and multi-story buildings, vehicles, sections of the outdoor lighting network, and parts of the tram tracks and power lines.
Previously, it was known that eight people were injured, including one child, and one person died as a result of the Russian attack on Mykolaiv on March 17.
