In the first half of November, Russian propaganda will focus its main efforts on discrediting EU and U.S. sanctions and spreading new nuclear threats against Western countries.
The Center for Countering Disinformation under the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine reported.
“The Center predicts that in the first half of November, Russian propaganda will concentrate on campaigns aimed at discrediting EU and U.S. sanctions and issuing new nuclear threats against Western nations. It is expected that narratives claiming that sanctions ‘have no impact on Russia’s economy’ and instead ‘harm Europeans and Americans themselves’ will be actively promoted,” the report said.
In addition, a campaign escalating nuclear threats is anticipated, promoting the message of Russia’s alleged “unprecedented military superiority,” especially its nuclear forces.
The Center also expects intensified information campaigns accusing the EU and the U.S. of disrupting peace talks, discrediting the activities of the Coalition of the Willing, manipulating narratives around Ukraine’s 2026 state budget, and continuing the intimidation campaign known as “Black Winter.”
