In Odessa, cultural heritage sites were damaged as a result of a nighttime attack by Russian drones, including historic buildings of a residential complex on Seminarska Street and the former brewery on French Boulevard.

This was reported by the Ministry of Culture and Strategic Communications.

The ministry noted that significant destruction was inflicted on a local architectural and urban planning monument — the residential complex at 4 Seminarska Street. The building, constructed in 1912–1913 based on the design of architect Ya.M. Ponomarenko, was damaged by fire caused by a drone strike.

Also damaged was a historic early 20th-century building — the former brewery on French Boulevard. The blast wave shattered the windows and doors of the site.

“Russian strikes continue to destroy the historical memory of Ukrainian cities, their cultural identity, and architectural heritage. We document all crimes against cultural heritage for further international investigations and the accountability of the aggressor,” the Ministry emphasized.
