President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has signed a law amending certain legislative acts to simplify the procedure for importing, accounting, and distributing humanitarian aid.

The bill, No. 9111, "On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts to Simplify the Procedure for Importing, Accounting, and Distributing Humanitarian Aid," returned with the president's signature on December 21. The enactment is currently being circulated.

A significant innovation in the document is the legislatively established simplification of the procedure for importing, accounting, and distributing humanitarian aid.

Specifically, the law introduces an electronic system for accounting for humanitarian aid. Additionally, the law expands the list of recipients of humanitarian aid.
