Two new industrial parks have been added to the registry of industrial parks - "DNISTER," located within the territory of the Yampil city territorial community of the Mohyliv-Podilskyi district in the Vinnytsia region, and "Galicia" - within the territory of Kalush city in the Ivano-Frankivsk region. The relevant decisions were adopted by the Government.

"This year, the Government's task is to achieve maximum economic self-sufficiency, for which it is necessary to more effectively stimulate Ukrainian production. The concept of industrial parks is intended to stimulate the development of national producers who manufacture products with high added value, contribute to economic growth, and create new jobs. The two new industrial sites are expected to create over 1200 jobs and attract investments of over UAH 1.5 billion," said Deputy Minister of Economy Vitaliy Kyndrativ.

According to the concept of the "DNISTER" industrial park, covering an area of 17.2 hectares, 265 jobs will be created in the processing industry. The park is expected to specialize in paper and paper product manufacturing, processing of plant products, and other compatible activities.

Meanwhile, the "Galicia" Industrial Park will be located on an area of 19.8 hectares and will create up to 1000 jobs. The main productions of this park will also specialize in the processing industry, with the primary focus on manufacturing various construction materials. The park's territory will initiate the production of clay building materials, cement, lime, and gypsum mixtures, as well as the manufacture of products from concrete, gypsum, and cement. Additionally, investors plan to start manufacturing machinery and equipment, introduce industrial and household waste recycling, engage in scientific and technical activities, and establish enterprises working with alternative energy and energy storage.

The total investment in the two industrial parks for the next three years is expected to exceed UAH 1.5 billion.
