On the Kharkiv front, the intensity of combat remains high, with Ukrainian defense forces destroying 187 Russian forces and two enemy tanks in the past day. Spokesperson Yuriy Povkh of the Operational Tactical Group "Kharkiv" reported this during the national telethon United News.
"The intensity of fighting remains high in the operational area of the 'Operational-Tactical Group "Kharkiv". There were 11 clashes in the past day, with all enemy attacks repelled. Battles took place near the settlements of Tylne, Vovchansk, Hlyboke, and Starytsia," the spokesperson stated.
He added that the struggle against enemy sabotage and reconnaissance groups continues persistently, particularly on the Zolochiv sector of the front.
"The Russian forces are represented by small sabotage groups attempting sporadic incursions into Ukrainian territory," the spokesperson disclosed.
Povkh also noted that enemy logistics are complicated by ongoing combat operations.
"Over the past day, the enemy in our sector lost 187 personnel killed or wounded. Additionally, they lost 2 tanks, 4 armored personnel carriers, 14 vehicles, and 6 units of special equipment. The enemy also suffered significant losses in bunkers, communication nodes, and ammunition storage points," Povkh concluded.
