Ukrainian industrial company Interpipe participated in the International Conference on Ukraine's Recovery (URC2024) held in Berlin.
According to the company's press service, during the event, Chairman of the Board of Directors Fadi Hraibi presented a major investment project worth approximately $1 billion.
The project involves the construction of the second phase of the electric arc furnace complex at Interpipe Steel and a workshop for the production of green flat rolled products.
"In post-war Ukraine, we anticipate a significant supply deficit of flat rolled products. Additionally, we observe a consistently growing demand for green steel in the European Union. Our proposed project aims to meet this demand. However, its implementation will require substantial debt financing from international financial organizations. We hope that the Ukraine Development Fund will serve as the instrument to prepare this project," noted Hraibi
