This was emphasized by Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Kateryna Pavlichenko today, May 19, during a meeting with the team of the American technology company "Hala Systems", which specializes in data analytics and artificial intelligence.

Hala Systems is known for creating a system of warning of airstrikes on civilians in Syria and introducing a mobile application that uses artificial intelligence to structure and prioritize war crimes.

Kateryna Pavlichenko informed that Ukrainian law enforcement officers have a lot of work to do, so the expert support of partners in recording, investigating and analyzing war crimes is very important.

"Analyzing the data will significantly speed up investigating war crimes and establishing an international tribunal for Russian war criminals," she said.

In turn, the first deputy chief of the Main Investigation Department of the National Police of Ukraine Serhiy Panteleev said that law enforcement officers work with a huge amount of information.

"Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, NPU investigators have recorded more than 12,000 war crimes," said Sergei Panteleev.

He also stressed that war crimes have no statute of limitations.

"Sooner or later, all war criminals will be brought to justice! Since the beginning of the war, two specialized units have been set up in the Main Investigation Department of the National Police to deal directly with the investigation of such crimes,” Serhiy Panteleev added.

The American company Hala Systems currently cooperates with international mechanisms for accountability and recording of war crimes, including the United Nations Special Commission, the United Nations International Independent Investigation Mechanism, the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons, and the International Criminal court.
