For strikes on Zaporizhzhia yesterday evening, Russian occupiers reportedly used guided aerial bombs. Footage of the aftermath of the enemy shelling has emerged.
This was reported by the National Police of Ukraine and the State Emergency Service.
Law enforcement stated that the Russians carried out five airstrikes, likely with GABs, on the territory of the regional center and the Zaporizhzhia district.
"As a result of one of the strikes, a multi-story residential building was damaged by the shock wave and debris. Another hit occurred near a private house," the police reported.
Emergency responders revealed that seven people were injured in the airstrike on Zaporizhzhia, including one child. Additionally, 18 civilians were evacuated.
"Eleven private residential houses and one three-story residential building were destroyed," the SES reported. It was also noted that police, explosive ordnance experts, police paramedics, rescuers, and other specialized services are working at the impact sites.
The head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov, also published photos of the aftermath of the enemy shelling.
"Launching strikes on civilians even at night is the height of cynicism from Russia. Russia is a terrorist state. The world must stop this lawlessness!" he captioned the footage on his Telegram.
