The Russian army last week used an FPV drone with a warhead based on an RPG for a strike on Kharkiv for the first time.
This was reported on Telegram by Mayor Ihor Terekhov.
"Kharkiv remains one of the key targets on the map of enemy terror. In total, there were seven strikes on the city last week. For the first time since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the enemy used an FPV drone with a warhead based on an RPG. This is a new, even more insidious threat, indicating an attempt to find 'weak spots' in the city's defense," the mayor said.
According to him, as a result of Russian shelling in the city over the week, 11 people were injured, among them a 14-year-old teenager who sustained a traumatic brain injury.
He also noted:
"As before, the destruction affected exclusively civilian infrastructure: private houses, multi-storey residential buildings, a printing house, and office premises were damaged."
