Special attention during the meeting was given to the issue of supporting port infrastructure and developing the maritime sector, as well as the importance of restoring energy infrastructure. Andriy Kashuba, Deputy Minister, emphasized the critical importance of international support for ensuring economic and food security and presented a recovery plan for the maritime sector, developed jointly by Ukraine and Estonia.

"Since the start of the grain corridor, we have successfully processed over 113 million tons of cargo, despite constant attacks on port infrastructure. The restoration of ports and the maritime sector remains one of our priorities, and we are happy to cooperate with our Korean partners in this regard. We value Korea's expertise and experience in these matters and welcome the involvement of Korean businesses in the recovery of the maritime sector, bringing in experience and investment," emphasized the Deputy Minister.

⚡️ For his part, Deputy Minister Kostyantyn Kovalchuk stressed the importance of cooperation in energy supply, particularly in the development of distributed generation, and highlighted the importance of water supply and sewage projects. Specifically, the project involves the reconstruction of water supply networks and the construction of a modern water treatment plant with the implementation of advanced technologies, in collaboration with the Korean State Agency for Water Resources, K-WATER, in Truskavets.

"The project in Truskavets, which will provide local residents with clean drinking water, is an important step for us. It demonstrates the effectiveness of international partnership and the potential for implementing modern technologies in water supply. We also count on continued support from our Korean partners in the development of distributed generation for communities. Joint initiatives like this are critically important for the stable development of Ukraine. We clearly see the country of the future — restored, modernized, and integrated into the free world," stated Kostyantyn Kovalchuk.
