Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba will visit India at the end of this month.
This was reported by The Hindu.
A diplomatic source of the publication reported that the announcement of Kuleba's upcoming visit appeared a few days after the National Security Advisor of India, Ajit Doval, had a phone conversation with the head of the Office of the President, Andriy Yermak.
The publication emphasized that Kuleba's visit will be closely watched as it will be the first visit of a high-ranking Ukrainian official to India since the beginning of the war.
The war attracted the attention of Indian media after The Hindu newspaper published a report that several Indians were deceived by fraudulent agencies promising employment as assistants to Russian military personnel on the front lines of combat against Ukraine.
In the early months of the war, there were also reports that Ukraine had enlisted some non-resident Indians who voluntarily agreed to act on Ukraine's side. It is expected that these issues will be addressed during Kuleba's visit to India.
