Chief of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov, stated in an interview with the German television channel ARD that Taurus missiles would significantly enhance the capabilities of Ukrainian security and defense forces to resist the aggression of the Russian Federation.
"Taurus would certainly make our lives easier. For striking command centers, for hitting very important targets - it's a great weapon," said Kyrylo Budanov.
According to the chief of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, a significant boost in Europe's defense industry is expected this year.
He reminded that long-term military support for Ukraine is an extremely important factor in combating Russia's large-scale aggression.
In the opinion of Chief Kyrylo Budanov, the EU is capable of compensating for the lack of American assistance to Kyiv.
The head of Ukrainian intelligence also commented on the explosions on the Nord Stream gas pipelines, refuting Russian accusations of Ukraine's alleged involvement.
"I am more than certain that no official in Ukraine could have had anything to do with this, even physically. And I know for sure that no orders were given to any service," emphasized Kyrylo Budanov.
