Chief of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense Kyrylo Budanov stated that Russia has already delivered the first nuclear warheads to Belarus. The Major General revealed this in an interview with journalist Natalia Moseychuk.
According to his statement, the presence of nuclear weapons on Belarusian territory is part of a "major geopolitical game" and serves as a means of deterrence and raising stakes.
"Just a few days ago, the first warheads were delivered. Prior to that, large-scale training with nuclear simulators was conducted. I have read the original documents detailing the training results. They are quite concerning documents for Belarus," Budanov shared.
The head of the intelligence directorate pointed out that the Russian command responsible for nuclear warheads reported that Belarus was found completely unprepared to operate nuclear weapons, based on the results of training with nuclear simulators on the "Iskander" missile complexes.
"At the same time, the Belarusians demonstrated a highly proficient command of equipment such as the 'Tochka-U'," the Major General added.
