Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the Russian Federation has not ceased mobilizing for its army.
According to Kyrylo Budanov, the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, on Facebook and in an interview with the French publication Liberation, Russia has never stopped mobilizing people for its occupying army.
"The aggressor state has never stopped recruiting people for its occupying army. Every month, at least 30,000 people are mobilized in Russia," says Budanov.
The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate revealed that by the end of last year, Russia had drafted over 300,000 individuals into the army.
It is worth noting that there has been recent information in the media about a new wave of mobilization in Russia. Specifically, there are reports that Vladimir Putin aims to mobilize over 400,000 individuals.
Regarding the future election, Budanov said:
"They want to legitimize their regime in the occupied Ukrainian territories and demonstrate the overall "support" of the population. The result is already known: Putin will receive about 75% of the votes"
