Lifting any restrictions on the use of Western weapons for Ukraine could significantly impact the course of the war with Russia.
This was stated by the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, at the NATO Public Forum.
He mentioned that he sees real changes on the front lines as possible when Ukraine's partners lift all restrictions on the use of the weapons provided to Ukrainian defenders. This includes strikes deep into Russian territory.
"I believe this will be a real game-changer, and I hope that our partners will understand this as soon as possible," Yermak added.
The head of the Office of the President emphasized that Russia has no restrictions on striking Ukrainian hospitals and schools.
Recently, Ukraine's partners have begun lifting restrictions on strikes against Russian territory using weapons they previously supplied.
For instance, the U.S. has allowed strikes on Russian soldiers and equipment located in border areas. However, restrictions on long-range weapons remain in place.
