In Lithuania, the organization Blue/Yellow, in collaboration with former President Dalia Grybauskaitė, launched the "Greetings from Lithuania" campaign to raise funds for drones for Ukraine.
This was reported by LRT.
The campaign will run throughout the summer, aiming to purchase and send as many Lithuanian-made or assembled drones to the front lines in Ukraine as possible.
Interestingly, former President of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaitė is the campaign's patron. She emphasized that "Ukraine is our common front, where each of us can be a heavy fist against the aggressor."
"Let's send our Lithuanian drones into battle to fight the enemy on our behalf. Let's fight for life, for victory, for the future," Grybauskaitė said.
Additionally, anyone who donates 500 euros will have the opportunity to send a personalized drone to Ukraine with a greeting from Lithuania.
"In the first half of this year alone, we have purchased and sent over 2,000 drones to Ukraine, from small FPV drones to large specialized ones for specific missions. Of course, this is not enough, so we aim to add at least a few hundred more drones this month," said Laura Paukštė, Director of Blue/Yellow.
