Mark Feygin said that assumption about the death of Putin in April 2023 has a substantial basis.
Russian oppositionist, lawyer, and journalist Mark Feigin commented on the words of Alexei Arestovich that in April 2023 Putin might not physically exist. "The point is that this assumption has a basis from the point of view of analysis. Putin (by that time) may lose more of Melitopol and Crimea. I don't even know what could happen to him. But if Putin is not, then there will be no war," the expert confidently stated in an interview with Vasily Golovanov.
According to Feygin, he adhered and still adheres to the point of view that without Putin there will be no war.
âIf he had won this war, then it would be another matter. But when he lost it and is pulling the cat by the tail, then, in fact, who else needs it, except for him alone, so that he does not lose face and power?â - said the oppositioner.
Also during the conversation, Mark Feygin said that no one needs Putin, who lost. First of all, the apparatus of power, not the people, will not forgive him for the defeat because the people are not politically subject. The expert is sure that after losing the war with Ukraine, Putin will lose power. The only thing is, people have yet to determine exactly when this will happen.
