Massive fires break out in Odessa region following Russian drone attack

On the night of Monday, August 4, Russian forces attacked the Odessa region with strike drones, causing large-scale fires.

According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine on Facebook, the fires were promptly extinguished by firefighters together with volunteers.

The worst damage occurred at the site of a radio market, where the fire destroyed dozens of trade pavilions filled with electronics and household appliances. A major blaze also broke out in an unused dormitory building.

 

 

In the Odessa district, a private house was damaged. The owner managed to put out the fire on his property himself.

There were no casualties or injuries, the State Emergency Service emphasized.
