Currently, no one can accurately predict when potential Russian aggression against Poland might begin. However, Putin could already conduct a mini-operation against one of the Baltic countries.
This opinion was expressed in an interview with the Polish media Dziennik Gazeta Prawna by the head of Poland's Military Counterintelligence Service (SKW), JarosÅaw Stróżyk.
As the head of SKW pointed out, no one can name the date of a possible Russian aggression against Poland today. According to him, all forecasts from analytical centers, lacking full information, are based only on certain assumptions.
"Putin is certainly already prepared for some mini-operation against one of the Baltic countries, for example, to enter the famous Narva or land on one of the Swedish islands," StruciÅski believes.
The head of Polish military counterintelligence estimated that "it's a question of Putin's intentions, but what the West does together to support Ukraine shows him that in the event of an attack on NATO, the Western response would be even greater."
JarosÅaw Stróżyk spoke positively about the actions of the previous Polish government regarding arms procurement. He noted that although it was done with a delay, Poland's capabilities to deter the aggressor are growing.
European intelligence services have warned governments across the continent that Russia is actively planning diversions, including explosions, arson, and damage to infrastructure, directly and through proxies, without much concern for the potential civilian casualties.
