Ukraine's Defense Forces are automatically detecting 12,000 enemy units every week using the Avengers artificial intelligence (AI) platform, developed by the Innovation Center of Ukraine's Ministry of Defense. This impressive figure is achieved through automatic analysis of video footage from drones and stationary cameras.

The AI platform allows operators to make faster and more effective decisions while reducing the risk of errors caused by fatigue. It has already been successfully integrated into the VEZHA streaming module of the DELTA combat system.

"The Avengers platform, created by the Ministry of Defense's Innovation Center, is unique globally in the volume of video data featuring enemy equipment. We continue to enhance Avengers and other AI solutions to give our military a strategic advantage. We also plan to expand the platform’s cloud capabilities and integrate AI into drones," said Kateryna Chernogorenko, Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine for Digitalization.

The Innovation Center is continuously training the Avengers AI model with new data, improving its ability to recognize various enemy equipment, even in challenging conditions, such as tanks hidden in forests or BMPs moving along dirt roads.
