Vladimir Zelensky informed the Moldovan authorities about some of them, and Chisinau is ready for this.
The Moldovan authorities are aware of Russia's plans to destabilize the situation in the country. The newly minted Moldovan Prime Minister Dorin Recean said there are several such scenarios, TV8 reports.
"There were and are several scenarios of destabilization. They include several elements, in particular those that President Zelensky mentioned. But our institutions are ready for such challenges: in the fall, we went through a rather unstable period, we have solid experience, and we are ready for different scenarios aimed at the security of the Republic of Moldova," says Recean.
The Prime Minister continues to insist that the situation is now under the control of the Moldovan authorities. The future plans of the government will be aimed at ensuring peace and stability in the country. In particular, Chisinau wants to solve the problem of Transnistria in this way.
"Our goal is to ensure peace and stability in the country, including the Left Bank. Moldova stands for a peaceful solution to the Transnistrian conflict. There are many scenarios, only one of the scenarios is mentioned and they do not appear now. These scenarios have been developed since Russia started the war," Rechan added.
Earlier, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said Ukraine was ready to help Moldova in a crisis for Chisinau. To do this, the Moldovan elite should apply to Kyiv with a corresponding request. The danger lies in the fact that the Kremlin wants to open a second front in Transnistria: for this, Russia plans to seize the Chisinau airport to be able to transfer troops to carry out a coup d'état.
