Monobank has made it into the global ranking of the top 250 fintech companies for the second consecutive year. This annual ranking is compiled by CNBC in collaboration with market research firm Statista. Monobank is the only Ukrainian bank featured in this prestigious list.
CNBC and Statista conducted extensive research from March to May 2024 to identify the top 250 fintech companies across various market categories, encompassing both large and small firms.
For the second year running, monobank has been recognized in the Neobanking category. Neobanks are digital financial institutions that operate without physical branches, providing services through mobile devices and computers. They have gained momentum since the global financial crisis.
In 2023, according to Statista data reported by CNBC, neobanks worldwide generated a combined net interest income of $650.28 billion.
In the Neobanking category of the 2024 ranking, 35 neobanks from 14 countries were included, alongside monobank from Ukraine. Other countries represented include the United States, Netherlands, Poland, Brazil, India, Turkey, United Kingdom, Argentina, South Korea, Nigeria, Germany, and Denmark.
