More than one billion hryvnias donated by donors from all over the world through UNITED24 for healthcare needs

Since the launch of the fundraising platform UNITED24, UAH 1 042 468 050 has been raised for healthcare needs. For the funds gathered, according to the decision of the relevant commission on their distribution, Medical Procurement of Ukraine purchased more than 9000 units of medical and other equipment and transport.

UNITED24 is an international fundraising platform initiated by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky in May this year. The goal is to become a single window for collecting donations to help Ukraine. The funds are transferred to the accounts of the National Bank of Ukraine and directed by the relevant ministries to the most urgent needs in three areas: defense and demining, medical care and reconstruction.

Thus, under the medical aid direction there has been purchased for donations:

  • 133 ambulances equipped with everything necessary for the transportation of seriously wounded;
  • 13 units of evacuation armored vehicles;
  • 35 transport artificial lung ventilation devices;
  • 28 children's artificial lung ventilation devices;
  • 81 operating tables;
  • 7954 external fixation devices;
  • 172 vacuum wound therapy devices;
  • 22 C-arm X-ray units.

"The UNITED24 fundraising platform is a very successful case, which, in addition to communication, also works financially for Ukraine. Through it, we have managed to unite people around the world," says Deputy Minister of Health for Digital Development Maria Karchevych.
