The adviser to the head of the Office of the President named at least two reasons why the ZNPP remains and will continue to be Ukrainian.

The line of defense of the Russian army is gradually moving away to the borders of the Russian Federation so that the invaders will not be able to keep the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant. Soon the ZNPP will not only formally but actually become Ukrainian.

Mykhaylo Podolyak, the adviser to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, spoke about this on the FREEDOM TV channel.

"Russian servicemen will leave the Zaporizhzhia NPP, as their line of defense is gradually moving towards the borders of the Russian Federation," he said.

In addition, Podolyak stressed that the international community, in contrast to the situation with the annexation of Crimea, has demonstrated a principled position regarding the ownership of the nuclear power plant.

“When Russia seized Crimea, and all the international missions waved their hands and said: “Well, okay,” now this story will not work,” he said.

The adviser to the head of the Presidential Office emphasized that the whole world openly declares that Rosatom has no legal power over the Zaporizhzhya NPP; this station is exclusively Ukrainian.
