Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov stated that in 2024 Ukraine has increased the production of long-range strike drones by ten times compared to the previous year.
He revealed this in an interview with the German publication Welt.
"Most of the drones that attacked Russian oil refineries have a range of 700 to 1000 kilometers, but there are now models that can fly over 1000 kilometers," Fedorov said.
According to the minister, the outcome of the war depends precisely on the development of drone technologies. However, currently, the capabilities in this regard between the parties are almost equal.
"It is not yet possible to say who is winning the technological war - in some areas, we are winning, while in others, the Russians are surpassing us," Fedorov emphasized.
Ukrainian experts have found a way to limit Russia's capabilities in using Starlink terminals.
"Ukraine will continue to use Starlink, while the Russians will be maximally restricted in this regard. The necessary decisions have been made. We will see the results in the near future," said Fedorov.
According to him, the aerospace company SpaceX is in touch with Ukraine and quickly responds to problems. Without going into details, the minister noted that the necessary decisions have already been made, and their results will be visible "in the near future."
The minister also emphasized that he believes the American billionaire Elon Musk is on Ukraine's side.
