According to the Minister of Defense, these weapons will strengthen the Armed Forces of Ukraine and make our skies safer.
On Monday, November 7, it became known that the NASAMS and Aspide air defense systems had arrived in Ukraine.
This was announced on Twitter by the Minister of Defense of the country Oleksiy Reznikov who thanked Ukraine's partners for the provided weapons.
"These weapons will significantly strengthen UAarmy and will make our skies safer. We will continue to shoot down the enemy targets attacking us," he wrote.
- In September, the Pentagon announced that the United States plans to provide Ukraine with two NASAMS anti-aircraft missile systems over the next two months, providing additional air defense for our state.
- On November 2, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said that a large package of defense assistance from Spain is being sent to Ukraine, which consists of Hawk air defense systems, an Aspide anti-aircraft missile battery, and other weapons.
