The Russian army has not launched "Shahed" drones at Ukraine in recent days due to certain difficulties. It is possible that they are looking for new launch sites.

This was reported by the head of the press center of the Defense Forces of southern Ukraine, Natalia Humenyuk, during a telethon.

"We see that the barrage-type projectiles like Shahed-131/136 or other modifications have not been used in the past days or nights. In particular, starting from the weekend. According to the Air Force data, they were not used in other directions either. Obviously, there are certain difficulties," she said.

At the same time, she noted an increase in activity of cargo aircraft on the Tehran-Moscow route.

"It is possible that they are preparing new launch sites and conducting unit coordination. To carry out tasks such as mass drone attacks, it is also necessary to train personnel, distribute duties, and coordinate actions," she said.

Humenyuk pointed out that the Russians are aware that their launch sites are known to Ukraine.

"And they are also studying and drawing conclusions from the lessons learned from the attack on Belbek," she added.
