Russian forces on the Zaporizhzhia front are engaging in assault actions with small infantry groups using lightweight vehicles.

This was reported by National Guard spokesperson Ruslan Muzichuk during a television broadcast.

"Over the last two months, in areas where our units are carrying out tasks in the south, particularly on the Zaporizhzhia front, the enemy has not significantly increased the pace of combat operations. The enemy has carried out low-intensity assault actions, mostly infantry assaults by small groups, as well as assaults using lightweight vehicles, ATVs, and buggies," he noted.

According to him, on the Zaporizhzhia front, the Russian forces are continuously conducting aerial and engineering reconnaissance. They specifically carried out reconnaissance to understand the defense systems on our sectors.

The spokesperson added that over the course of one day, National Guard units repelled 11 assault attempts along the front line, most of them in the Pokrovsk direction.
