Vladimir Putin and his circle will be held accountable if the information about Alexei Navalny's death is confirmed.
This was reported by Yulia Navalnaya during her speech at the Munich Security Conference, cited by Deutsche Welle.
As Navalny's wife noted, she does not know if she can trust Russian state sources regarding her husband's death, as Putin and his circle always lie.
"But if this is true, I want Putin, all his entourage, the Putin government to know that they will be punished for what they have done to our country, to my family, and my husband. And that day will come very soon," Navalnaya said, calling on the world community to unite and defeat "the evil, the terrible regime that is currently in Russia.
What is known about Navalny's death The Federal Penitentiary Service (FPS) announced today, February 16, the death of politician Alexei Navalny in Correctional Colony No. 3 in the settlement of Pokrov, Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug.
According to the FPS statement, Navalny felt unwell during a walk. After that, he practically immediately lost consciousness, and doctors who arrived at the scene confirmed his death.
In Russia, it is claimed that Navalny allegedly suffered a thrombosis. Currently, the official cause of death of the politician is not known.
